Dark masonry walls are punctured by expressed steel framework balconies recalling and reimaging the suspended external ladders and fire escapes of its predecessors. The mansard roof houses dormer windows to the top-level bedrooms enabling an additional storey within the height plane.
The scheme achieves cross ventilation to each dwelling via a central breezeway at each level.
